"Radio Romance" and "Cross" to Begin January 29 Pitting "Romance Against Revenge"

2018/01/28 | 319 views | Permalink | Source

KBS 2TV drama "Radio Romance" and tvN drama "Cross" start January 29. Kim So-hyun and Yoon Doo-joon star in "Radio Romance" and Cho Jae-hyun and Go Kyung-pyo are starring in "Cross".

"Radio Romance" is about a top actor who can't do anything without a script and a radio script writer who isn't good at anything besides writing radio scripts.

The strong point of "Radio Romance" is the collaboration of Kim So-hyun and Yoon Doo-joon. Kim So-hyun has been an actress since she was a child and she's proven her mettle throughout the years. Yoon Doo-joon is an idol turned actor who has been successful in dramas like "Let's Eat".

If "Radio Romance" is sweet and light, "Cross" is the opposite. It's a medical drama featuring revenge and jail time. Cho Jae-hyun and Go Kyung-pyo lead the drama and their existence alone makes the drama exciting.

"Cross" is about a doctor set on revenge and another doctor who wants revenge on him. The drama is based in a hospital and a jail and it's directed and written by Sin Yong-hwi and writer Choi Min-seok.

The competition gets heavy as MBC is still on strike and SBS won't be having any new Monday and Tuesday dramas due to the Pyeongchang Olympics.
