Radio Star Han Ye-ri Is Both an Actress and a Dancer

2018/05/02 Source

Han Ye-ri explained why she acts and dances at the same time.

She appeared on the MBC TV show "Radio Star" and explained why she had two jobs as an actress and a dancer.

She graduated Traditional Korean Dance and Arts at the Korean National University of Arts and she says she couldn't 'give either up'.

"Acting and dancing balance each other; I would get energy from one side and release energy through the other. I loved doing both at the same time so I couldn't bear to think I would stop doing either one of them".

Dancing helps Han Ye-ri's performance as an actress.

She danced in the movie "Worst Woman" and she was able to plan it all out.

"Dancing helps me memorize action routines quickly too. In "Six Flying Dragons" the director initially thought of me as a musician, but when he found out I was a dancer he changed my role to a dancer and I appear dancing in the first scene".

Han Ye-ri used to dance under her real name Kim Ye-ri. However, now that she has gained some reputation, she decided she didn't need to use that name. Now she is dancer Han Ye-ri.

Han Ye-ri is 35 years old now.

She's coming out with the Kim Ji-woon latest "Illang : The Wolf Brigade".
