"Radio Star" photo exhibit

The production team of the film, Radio Star, is holding a photo exhibit showcasing the film's production process and the breathtaking landscape of Yeongwol, the film's backdrop. The exhibit will run from Sept. 20 to Oct. 8 at the KTF Gallery, The Orange, in Myeongdong, Seoul.

The photo exhibit showcases photographic works by the film's director Lee Joon-ik, as well as by Production Achim CEO Jeong Seung-Hye, cinematographer Na Seung-Yong, and still photographer Noh Joo-Han. It is the first photo exhibit in Korea to feature a movie's production process.

Director Lee shot the landscape of the film's location, including the Jangneung Lake, while Jeong, CEO of Achim, collected over 100 photographs taken by the staff and made into a large framed collage, which portrays the very last scene of Radio Star, considered one of the greatest scenes in Korean film history.

Cinematographer Na digitized aerial shots of Seoul, Busan, and Yeongwol, while Noh's photographs captured the film's memorable scenes.

"One of my goals while shooting this film was to fully capture the natural beauty of Yeongwol', said Director Lee. "These photographs we are putting on exhibit will hopefully give the public a glimpse of a special place so steeped in a sense of freedom and peace".

Starring Ahn Sung-ki and Park Joong-hoon, Radio Star is a touching story about the special friendship between a singer and his manager. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on Sept. 28.
