Rain, 2nd out of 100 in American Times online vote

World star Rain is running second place in the weekly news magazine Times' "2011 Time 100" online vote.

According to the Times on the 5th, in the online vote of "The 100 Most Influential People" (aka Times 100), Rain is running second in place right after Chris Colfer from American drama "Glee". Among the 10,280 that voted, 9248 voted he was influential and 1032 voted he wasn't.

Out of 11,515 that voted online for Chris Colfer, 10,342 voted influential and 1172 that he wasn't.

In third place is Lady Gaga, in fourth place are the workers at the plant in Fukusima, in fifth place is Beyonce, sixth place is Michelle Obama, seventh place is Wael Ghanim, ninth place is Mark Zuckerberg and in tenth place is Mohamed Elbaradei (the previous secretary general of the International Atomic Energy Agency).

With 203 people as candidates, '2011 Times 100' online vote will continue until the 14th.

Meanwhile, last year figure skating queen Kim Yu-na was included in the final "Times 100" after coming 3rd in place in the "Times 100" online vote. Rain, who had followed right behind her in 4th place online, failed to be included in the actual "Times 100".

"Times 100" is voting for the 100 most influential in the world in categories like 'Leaders, Heroes, Artists, Thinkers' and more every year. The participation of netizens make up this vote and is different from "Times 100" online votes.
