Rain's name was confidently listed in the 'TIME 100' released on the 21st. His name stood in line along with Canadian singer Justin Bieber, winner of Grammy pop vocal performance Bruno Mars, "Alice in Wonderland"'s Mia Wasikowska, movie star Mark Wahlberg and more. President of the United States Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Oprah Winfrey were also in the list.

This is not the first time Rain has been put in the top 100. He was up there once in 2006 for the first time in Korean celebrities. Therefore Korea and the whole of Asia were in the TIME 100 twice. The only American star that was chosen in the top 100 was Hollywood actor George Clooney.

Rain will be attending the official "TIME 100" party in New York on the 26th. He will be departing from Incheon airport on the 24th around 7.30PM and return on the 28th around 5.35PM.
