Rain makes a surprise appearance for "R2B: Return to Base"!

/></a></p> <p>Following a Wednesday, Aug. 22 showing of R2B: Return to Base" at a CGV movie theater in Seoul, the cast of "R2B: Return to Base" made a surprise stage greeting for the audience. To thank the audience for their support, the cast also prepared special gifts, such as "Se-kyeong chips"-handmade cookies by actress Sin Se-kyeong-and sports towels autographed by the entire cast.

Suddenly, actor Kim Sung-soo asked into the crowd, "Are there any army men in the audience?", at which point an embarrassed Rain, who had been quietly watching the movie in the back row, raised his hand. Rain, who is currently serving mandatory military service, wrote a handwritten letter to fans last month. In the letter, he had promised director im Dong-weon that he would spend his own money to watch "R2B: Return to Base" on his day off. Dressed casually in a button-down shirt and black cap, Rain greeted the audience and thanked them once more for choosing "R2B: Return to Base".
