Rain to Return to JYP Entertainment

Singer and actor Rain will return to JYP Entertainment after parting ways with the management agency three years ago.

The agency, run by singer and producer J.Y. Park, announced on Monday that it has become the largest stakeholder in Rain's J.Tunes Entertainment company through an allotment of shares by a third party.

Negotiations over the deal began when Rain proposed the idea to Park a while ago, JYP said. Shareholders of the management group had agreed, which facilitated the deal.

Rain left JYP to set up J.Tunes in October 2007.

"We will support Rain as best as we can so that he can pursue his career more actively", JYP said. "Together with Rain's extensive experience over the past three years, we expect to create strong synergy".
