Real Estate Prices Soar Fastest in 7 Years

Real estate prices across the country increased 4.63 percent on average this year, the steepest rise in seven years.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on Thursday said real estate prices grew more than W210 trillion to W4,275 trillion over the period (US$1=W1,106).

Cosmetics store Nature Republic in Myeong-dong, Seoul remains the nation's most expensive property for the 13th straight year. One square meter in the store is valued at W80.7 million.
