"Robot TaeKwon V" Meet at theater after an interval of 31 years

Animation <Robot Taekwon V> is coming back to audiences. It is 31 years after it was first produced.

For this release it was last September's completed digital restoration film. To make film they found a copy original film from 2003 Korean Film Council (CEO Jung Sook Ahn)'s storage and working on fixing the film, employing 5000 people each year for 2 years.

This film is based on the first martial arts robot animation, biology Dr. Carp who had a complex on appearance trying to destroy the earth VS Hoon and Robot Taekwon V who are trying to get peace to earth. It was very popular at that time, 180,000 audiences just in Seoul.

For celebrate and remember, Seoul Entertainment Center (Director Jung Hyuk Bang) said that TaeKwon V's statue will be stood at front of city hall and also planning related character business will be processed in same time. This statue's high will be 3.5m, weigh 2.5t. It was already shown last July for it's 30th celebration.

Publicity "All that Cinema" said they are planning to release the movie to 150 theaters and mean time character business will be carried on too.
