Sassy girls who are taking the screen, success? 'Maybe'

2008/05/22 | Permalink | Source

The screen these days is full of bizarre girls. After Jun Ji-hyun played the youthful and charming bizarre girl in the romantic comedy "My Sassy Girl", the line is not ending. They are now bolder, one step above Jun Ji-hyun's sassy girl. But as there is no young brother like an older brother or a younger sister like an older sister, there are not as many successes as "My Sassy Girl".

"Frivolous Wife" Park Jung-ah
There is Park Jung-ah of "Frivolous Wife", which saw the light due to Jewelry's popularity. It is a family comedy that outlines the happenings when the flirt Chun Yeon-soo (Park Jung-ah) marries the only son of a rich family, Lee Jung-do (Park Jin-woo).

Park Jung-ah plays Chun Yeon-soo, who received all the love of her father, who became a millionaire overnight. She had been in a beauty pageant and has a pretty face, and she is also good at drunken singing and dancing. She stops her crazy life and marries into a rich family but like a new-generation daughter-in-law, she is expected to make many mistakes.

"What Happened Last Night?? " Ye Ji-won
Ye Ji-won will show her comical acting in the movie "What Happened Last Night?? ". It is a comedy that outlines friendships and incidents that alcohol caused for singles in their 30s.

She plays Yoo-jin, a 32-year-old single woman. If Yoo-jin drinks, she may act crazy, but the next day, she can't remember what happened. She finds herself naked in a hotel, but she doesn't remember any man and there are only bills for thousands of dollars. And her extravagant inferences begin as she tries to get out of a dangerous situation.

"My Mighty Princess" Shin Min-ah
Shin Min-ah, who is recently in a scandal with TOP (Choi Seung-hyun), returns with "My Mighty Princess". It is the work of director kwak Jae-Yong, who created the sassy character in "My Sassy Girl". This movie is about a martial arts master who takes a risk becoming a university student to not lose her first love.

Shin Min-ah plays So-hwi, a young, bright martial arts master. She is able to knock down ten men with her skill, but she is also a girl who blushes in front of her first love. She goes against the wishes of her family and thus begins the hilarious events between So-hwi and her family.

"Hongdangmu" ("Crush and Blush") Gong Hyo-jin
Gong Hyo-jin changed into an unlikable old, single woman. "Hongdangmu" is a comedy about an annoying single woman who tries to prevent her crush from dating.

She takes a radical chance as she enters a war trying to defend the man she loves. She forms an alliance with the man's daughter and the school's loner Seo Jong-hee (Seo Woo) and stalks him. But she is always flushing and when she is in front of her crush, her face turns red like a radish.
