SBS Drama "The Nokdu Flower" Awarded Overseas

SBS drama "The Nokdu Flower" won a bronze medal in the mini-series category at the 2020 New York Festival TV & Film Awards, according to SBS.

Broadcast from April 2nd to July 13th last year, "The Nokdu Flower" is a drama about the turbulent human story of half brothers and the fight against the peasant army in the whirlpool of the Donghak Peasant Revolution in 1894.

Launched in 1957, the New York Festival TV & Film Awards is a world-renowned awards ceremony in which more than 50 countries participate every year to compete fiercely for the award. There are 16 categories, including news, documentaries and entertainment programs.

"The Nokdu Flower" is directed by Sin Kyeong-soo, written by Jeong Hyeon-min, and features Jo Jung-suk, Yoon Si-yoon, Han Ye-ri, Choi Moo-sung, Park Hyuk-kwon, Hwang Young-hee. Broadcasting information in Korea: 2019/04/26~2019/07/13, Fri, Sat 22:00 on SBS.
