Second member of SS501 Leaves The DSP Nest

The second member of SS501 has officially announced his decision regarding making a switch in entertainment companies.

This announcement comes after leader Kim Hyun-joong made his decision to leave SS501's original agency, DSP Entertainment, for Keyeast Entertainment at the end of their contract. Now, Park Jung-min-I broke the silence by announcing his decision to sign with CNR (Comic-Ritz & Roymedia). This company formed when well-known Taiwanese drama production company, Comic-Ritz, and a Korean drama and movie production company called Roymedia came together. CNR is planning on opening their office in Apgujeong, Seoul during the third week of August.

One thing to note of CNR is that Comic-Ritz houses Chai Zhi Ping -- who's considered the "Godmother" of Chinese idol dramas -- as a representative. Ping really turned heads as the first producer to turn the popular Japanese comic series "Boys over Flowers" into a drama in Asia. She was the one to first start the "F4 syndrome". Ping is also credited with training and helping the four Taiwanese idol stars who acted in the "Boys over Flowers" drama become Asian stars.

Ping will also be taking part in running the now merged CNR company, more specifically in drama production and overseas ?distribution. Thanks to Park Jung-min-I's activities in China, Taiwan, and other parts of Asia, CNR recognized his value as a Hallyu star and was the first one to jump at the opportunity to sign him under their name. In the end, Park reportedly decided on CNR because of his ambitions to be a more active entertainer in China and other parts of Asia.
