Secret Successfully Ends Their Japan Tour: Japanese Fans Call Jeon Hyo-Sung "Korean Beyonce"

Jun Hyo-seong of the four-member South Korean girl group Secret earned a new nickname "Korean Beyonce" from her Japanese fans during her recent tour to Japan.

Jun Hyo-seong and three other members have recently finished their first concert in Japan.

On March 5, 2012 they started their Osaka concert, which moved onto such other cities as Nagoya and Tokyo.

Their Japanese tour was called "Secret 1st Japan Tour: Secret Time 2012".

Some 20 songs of their hits were introduced to the Japanese fans during the tour.

Around the end of the concert Jun Hyo-seong alone sang such Beyonce tunes as "Naughty Girl" and "Crazy in Love", earning her nickname of "Korean Beyonce".

Jun Hyo-seong was said to lose some 5 kg on a special diet prior to her Japan tour.

Yet, Jun Hyo-seong stills looks like "Beyonce", who is known to South Koreans as a beautiful American singer with a voluptuous body.

Secret management said that they will expand their overseas tour now that it has been two years since their debut.

Secret, often stylized as SECRET,is a South Korean K-pop girl group formed by TS Entertainment in 2009. Consisting of four members, Jun Hyo-seong, Jung Hana, Song Ji-eun and Han Sunhwa, the group released their debut single, "I Want You Back" on Oct. 13, 2009.

In 2010, they released two mini albums entitled Secret Time and Madonna with lead singles " Magic " and Madonna respectively.

In 2011, Secret released three other singles, namely "Shy Boy", "Starlight Moonlight" and "Love is Move". Song Ji-eun, the main vocalist, also released a solo single titled "Going Crazy" featuring B.A.P's leader, Bang Yong Guk.

In August 2011, the group made their official debut in Japan. Secret was the third Korean girl group to debut in the top ten on the Oricon charts, with Kara and Girls' Generation being the first and second groups respectively.

In October 2011, Secret released their first full-length studio album, Moving in Secret.

Aside from their commercial accomplishments, Secret is well-known for their transitions to cute and the girl-next-door image through songs like "Shy Boy" and "Starlight Moonlight" from the sexy and powerful image back in 2009 and 2010.

In support of their 3rd Japanese single, "So Much for Goodbye", the group will embark on its first head-lining tour in Japan named "Secret 1st Japan Tour" that will be held in March 2012.
