Seo Taiji Fans Collect W13 Million for Sex Slavery Victims

Fans of K-pop icon Seo Taiji will donate W13 million to an organization that helps women forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese in World War II (US$1=W1,238).

Seo's fan club said Monday that they are donating the money, which consists of proceeds from a bazaar in celebration of Seo's 45th birthday on Feb. 21.

Fans sold books, clothing and stationery to over 500 visitors.

Any leftover goods will be sold off later and the profits also donated to the charity.
