Kim Seolhyun to Star in "My Country: The New Age"

Kim Seolhyun is starring in the new JTBC drama "My Country: The New Age" at the end of the year.

"My Country: The New Age" is a historical drama based at the end of the Goryeo times. People from the Goryeo and the Joseon point swords at each other for power. The drama is directed by Kim Jin-won-I and written by Chae Seung-dae.

Kim Seolhyun plays the role of Han Hee-jae, an intelligent and adventurous young woman who feels disillusioned by Goryeo's evil customs. Yang Se-jong also stars as Seo Hwi and Woo Do-hwan as Nam Seon-ho.

Kim Seolhyun left a strong impression in the movie "The Great Battle". "My Country: The New Age" is her first drama since the 2015 "Orange Marmalade".
