Seoul to Extend Public Transportation Hours for Chuseok

The Seoul Metropolitan Government will extend hours of public transportation for Chuseok from Thursday to Sunday.

On Friday and Saturday, the subway and buses will run until 2 a.m. There will also be an extra 31,000 taxis on the roads at night.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Welfare said more than 520 emergency rooms nationwide will be open around the clock during the holiday. For non-emergencies, about 68,000 hospitals, clinics and pharmacies will be also open.
