Shin Se-kyung and Cha Eun-woo, a Collaboration of Great Visuals

"Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung" is the story of the first Joseon librarian and a prince who's never been in love. In the photo shoot, the actors didn't seem awkward at all and completed the accompanying pictorial with overwhelming visual acuity, displaying their own charms. Shin Se-kyung was very upbeat and so was Cha Eun-woo, making the synergy even greater.
About the drama, Shin Se-kyung said, "The scenario was something new. The overall balance and storyline was entertaining. The character stands out in this drama, so I can't wait to see the ensemble of the entire cast".
Joseon's first female librarian Goo Hae-ryung can be described as 'passionate' and 'revolutionary'. The recent characters played by Shin Se-kyung were all characters who were not forced to be typically feminine, like Jeong Hae-ra from "Black Knight" and So-ah from "Bride of the Water God". The actress said, "I like the movie "Monster" in which Charlize Theron made an impressive performance. I just love how the actress stands out in the film. That is actually why I'm attracted to the non-typical female characters".
Cha Eun-woo's biggest homework in this drama is convincing the public of Yi Rim. "Yi Rim lives a shattered life and he's not good at anything".
"I want to show that he experiences many things with Goo Hae-ryung and shows development. I referred to my brother and the youngest member of the team, Sanha, to apply that into the young and innocent side of Yi Rim. Sometimes, things aren't what you expect them to be on the set so I ask a lot of questions. Even Sung Ji-ru helps me a lot".
Cha Eun-woo revealed that his mother's mottos permeating his house, like 'Happiness is being thankful' and 'Know yourself', helped him become who he is today and he said, "I want to experience as much as I can and give faith in people".
He's busy as an actor and a singer at an early age in his 20s, but he feels pride in what he does.
