Shin Se-kyung in SBS' new Monday & Tuesday drama, 'Six Flying Dragons'

Actress Shin Se-kyung has confirmed her cast as the leading role, Boon-yi in SBS' new Monday & Tuesday drama, 'Six Flying Dragons

Writers Kim Yeong-hyeon and Park Sang-yeon of 'Deep-rooted Tree' and producer Sin Kyeong-soo have joined to produce 'Six Flying Dragons'. The drama is a fact based fiction period drama depicting the ambitions and success stories by six different figures in Joseon era.

Writers Kim Yeong-hyeon and Park Sang-yeon, who first met Shin Se-kyung as Young Princess Cheon-myeong in drama, 'Queen Seon-deok', paid attention to her analytical ability outstanding for a young actress and her unique overall vibe. The writers and the actress also met through 'Deep-rooted Tree'.

The writers watched Shin Se-kyung's performances and growth as an actress after the two projects. They have been sending repeated offers to cast her for the leading role in 'Six Flying Dragons' since they started casting for the drama. At the time, Shin Se-kyung was in the middle of shooting 'The Girl Who Sees Smells' and the writers have been waiting until the drama completes.

SBS' new Monday & Tuesday drama, 'Six Flying Dragons' is scheduled to begin in October this year.
