SHINee & KARA Attain Cold Certification In Japan

Two popular idol groups SHINee and Kara have once again proven their success in Japan.

According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) on November 12th, SHINee's "Dazzling GIrl" (produced by Jeff Miyahara) achieved the Gold Certification for shipping out over 100,000 albums, reaching up to second place on the Oricon Weekly Chart.

Kara's "Electric Boy" received the same status for selling over 100,000 albums. In fact, "Electric Boy" sold 57,942 albums in the first week of sales alone, which was enough to clinch second place on the Oricon Weekly Chart.
