[Short Takes]

Kwisini Sanda (Ghost House)

Kim Sang-jin, director of such hit comedies as "Kwangbokjol Tuksa (Jail Breakers - No. 815)" and "Sillaui Talbam (Kick the Moon)", tries to bring a little humor into the horror film genre with his newest film. Cha Seung-won, a regular in Kim's movies, stars as Pil-gi, a man whose biggest dream in life is to become an owner of a house. But when his dream finally come true, he finds the house already has an owner, in the form of Yon-hwa (Jang Seo-hee), a female ghost who does everything in her powers to get rid of Pil-gi.

Though the film is filled with many humorous moments, its biggest problem is its length _ a laborious 123 minutes. Too often, gags start out funny enough but overstay their welcome long after the novelty has worn off. In Korean.
