According to Oscar Entertainment, which manages the singer, Kim became drunk and disorderly after the plane had been airborne for about five hours.

A Korean Air spokesman said, "We believe Bobby Kim had consumed around five to six glasses of wine". Kim apparently sexually harassed a flight attendant and then fell asleep.

Kim was escorted off the plane in San Francisco, where was questioned by the FBI and airport security. A U.S. citizen, Kim was on vacation and on his way to meet his sister.

An Oscar Entertainment spokesman said Kim "had reserved a business class seat using his airline mileage, but was mistakenly given an economy class seat. He was upset and drank some wine and says he doesn't remember what he did".

"We are sorry about the incident. We will cooperate with the investigation as much as we can", it added.
