"We plan to unveil a new boy group named NCT in the first half this year", said Lee Soo-man, the founder and CEO of Korea's largest talent management agency SM Entertainment at a press event on Wednesday.

Abbreviated from "Neo Culture Technology", the group will have no fixed number of members and sing the same songs in several different languages.

"We will unveil some members who will be based in Seoul in the first half of this year and other members who will target K-pop fans in Beijing and Shanghai in the second half", Lee said.

Lee's plans seem to further expand the K-pop market overseas by nurturing aspiring singers locally.
