Song Il-kook lives up to the name until he becomes master of historical dramas

Actor Song Il-kook, who is currently capturing the public with his performance in the KBS 1TV drama "Jang Yeong-sil - Drama", is in fact the master of historical dramas. Despite the fact that he is of servant identity, Jang Yeong-sil is pursuing his dream.

C-Jess Entertainment claims that Song Il-kook's filmography is being talked about a lot lately.

Song Il-kook starred in his first historical, the KBS 2TV drama "Emperor of The Sea" in 2005. He played the role of Yeom Jang, a charismatic character who only had eyes for the woman he loves. Song Il-kook was a bad guy in the drama but he was weirdly not hated.

Then he starred in the MBC drama "Jumong" as King of Goguryo, Jumong who established the Goguryo Empire.

The drama set a record of 51.9% in the end and became a legend.

Song Il-kook then went on to the KBS 2TV drama "Land of wind" as Moo-hyool and created another King character. His fermented acting made Moo-hyool seem more desperate and sorrowful as well as romantic.

Song Il-kook is currently starring in "Jang Yeong-sil - Drama" as Jang Yeong-sil, a servant and is portraying the sadness of his identity and affection for his father.

Song Il-kook is a variable actor who can become any character he wants to be.

Meanwhile, "Jang Yeong-sil - Drama" can be seen every Ssturday and Sunday ad 9:40PM.
