Song Seon-pung Hit by Cupid's Arrow in 'My Too Perfect Sons'

The May 10 episode of "My Too Perfect Sons" showed a development in the relationship between Song Seon-pung (Han Sang-jin) and Oh Eun-ji (Yoo Ha-na). The KBS2 drama deals with love stories involving the four Song brothers, and Seon-pung is the third of them. On the anniversary of her parent's death, Eun-ji felt sad remembering them. Her parents died in a car accident, which she survived thanks to a bear doll that served as an "air bag" to cushion the impact. Thinking painfully back to the time, she took her bear doll to a Laundromat. Not knowing her story, Seon-pung, seeing her watching the doll spinning in the washing machine, said bluntly, "Don't you think you are too old to care for a doll? You spoiled children are hopeless". He was still a bit mad at her for calling him to have a drink and, becoming drunk, making trouble for him. "I am not a spoiled child", she retorted, and confided what had happened to her and her parents. "This bear returned my kindness I showed when I was young. He saved my life", she said sadly. "If it had not been for him, I could not have had a drink with you last time. I would not even be alive now to have become an actress. You may not like him, though". Telling him her painful memory in confidence indicated that she was slowly opening her feelings to him. Becoming perplexed, Seon-pung did not know what to say and tried to change the subject. "Stop talking nonsense to the doll. Why don't you read a book instead? Don't you know that your mind can't grow if you still play with a toy from childhood?" he said. But Eun-ji nevertheless told him something that hinted at the trauma she had undergone. "I am extremely smart. I remember everything that has happened to me, even things that happened when I was five years old". All this made Seon-pung feel her pain disguised in her bright smile.
