On the second episode of MBC's Wednesday & Thursday drama, "Angry Mom", Jo Kang-ja (Kim Hee-sun) got to read her daughter Oh Ah-ran (Kim Yoo-jung)'s journal and found out why her daughter had been hating her.

Jo Kang-ja was shocked to learn her daughter Oh Ah-ran had been being bullied violently at her school, Myeong-seong high school. Oh Ah-ran ended up being hospitalized for mental instability due to the violent bulling.

Later, Jo Kang-ja stumbled upon daughter Oh Ah-ran's journal and got to read it. Oh Ah-ran said on her journal, "The world is filled up with liars. The master of liars among them is my mom. Mom doesn't have a deceased sister or anyone like that. Mom still says I'm her deceased sister's daughter. While she cannot even say it proudly, why did she even give birth to me... I hate her who made me a liar. She doesn't deserve to be a mom".

After reading the journal, Jo Kang-ja mumbled, "She's right. I don't deserve to be a mom. I might have made a wrong decision. She can blame me. There's only one option for me still. Just like 17 years ago, I am going to protect my daughter".

"Angry Mom" is a cheerful and touching drama depicting a mom's story, who once was a delinquent during her school years and is now back to high school to protect her daughter, who has been being bullied at school, and goes through the problems in Korean education.
