[Spoiler] "Empire of Gold" Son Hyun-joo cries for his wife on wedding day

2013/07/09 | 781 views | Permalink | Source

Son Hyun-joo cried at the news of his wife's death whom he abandoned on his wedding day.

Min-jae (Son Hyun-joo) got married to Yoo-jin (Jin Seo-yeon) the daughter of the president of the bank to save his company in the SBS drama "Empire of Gold".

Min-jae loved his wife Yoon-hee (Lee Il-hwa) who was sick in the hospital but Yoo-jin seduced him into marrying her, saying it would save the company and he could spread his wings of passion once again. In the end, Min-jae chose passion and said goodbye to his wife saying he had loved her. Yoon-hee begged him not to go but he didn't take it back.

On the day he was getting married to Yoo-jin, he heard his wife had passed away. She had survived many complications but didn't overcome pneumonia and this shocked him. The wife he had abandoned didn't have the will to continued living on anymore.

Min-jae silently cried his heart out and expressed his sadness. Tae-joo (Go Soo) walked in just then and made it even worse by saying he would take up the offer. Min-jae lost his loving wife and Tae-joo was a second too late.
