JTBC drama "Fermented Family" was about the guidelines of life. "Cherish yourself" is what Kang Do-sik (Choi Jae-sung) taught.

Lacking confidence and slightly overweight, Yong-geum came to Cheon Ji In, ordered food for two people and sat waiting for somebody. A man showed up after a long time.

Handsome with a healthy frame, this man acted towards Yong-geum with an annoyed air. She held his arms and pleaded, "The food here is really good". The man said, "Whatever, let's go out" and dragged her out of the restaurant.

She then told him, "Pay me my money back. I know you're lying about your mother's hospital fees. I have to pay my rent". He replied back, "Honestly, I deserve that kind of money because I drink coffee with you, eat with you and watch movies with you".

The Cheon Ji In family were outraged. Kang Do-sik, who is quite honest and simple, held the man up and flung him down to the ground. Surprised, Yong-geum tried to protect the man and said, "I don't need my money back. I was wrong".

Kang Do-sik lectured, "Cherish yourself. If you do, you won't be manipulated by others". Yong-geum earned great courage from the Cheon Ji In Family.
