On the fifth episode of the KBS 2TV drama "Glory Jane", Yoon Jane (Park Min-young) and Kim Young-gwang (Chun Jung-myung) couldn't get jobs.

Nursing assistant Yoon Jane had to quit her previous job at a hospital because she was misunderstood as dating a patient due to a letter Kim Young-gwang had written. She had also had an argument with the head nurse (Choi Ran).

Jane was rejected in every hospital she went to. This was because of the head nurse. When hospitals called her for reference, she would say, "I'm sorry but I won't recommend her because she lacks both personality and skill".

Jane couldn't do anything about it and kept failing. She then ended up getting a part time job at a coffee shop.

Former baseball player Kim Young-gwang was also the same. As soon as he put forward his resume, it was headed for the trash. He took it back out saying, "Why take it when you're going to put it in here" then ripped it and threw it.

He met a senior baseball player and said, "I can't get a job because I am only a high school graduate, I know nothing but baseball and I'm 27. Only pain remains with me".

The way these two kept failing to get jobs reflected the poor employment issue that has been going on for a few years now. They were both socially weak people, as Chun Jung-myung plays a former baseball player with only a high school degree and Park Min-young is a nursing assistant because she didn't sit for the nursing test.

Viewers say, "I saw the unemployment issue through this episode today", "It's hard getting a job. I felt it through watching the drama", "The socially weak people have been well expressed in this drama" and more.
