On the December 5th episode of tvN drama, 'Incomplete Life", Jang Baek-gi (Kang Ha-neul) discovers Jang Geu-rae (Im Si-wan) used to be a prodigy baduk trainee of Korean Baduk Association.

Oh Sang-sik (Lee Sung-min) orders Jang Geu-rae to complete a mission to sell goods worth 100,000 won. Although Jang Geu-rae tries to sell swallowing his pride, there was no result. He finally visits Korean Baduk Association to ask for some help with his sale.

But those at Korean Baduk Association realize the true intent of Oh Sang-sik (Lee Sung-min) and refuse to help.

Jang Baek-gi, who followed Jang Geu-rae to Korean Baduk Association out of blue happens to hear people talking about Jang Geu-rae. Jang Baek-gi remains faithful without saying a word about what he heard, even after learning about Jang Geu-rae's painful history he had to give up on his dream to become a professional baduk player due to his family's difficult financial situation.
