[Spoiler] Kim Soo-hyun's reason for staying on Earth

2013/12/18 | 803 views | Permalink | Source

Cheon Song-ee (Jun Ji-hyun) and Do Min-joon's (Kim Soo-hyun) connection from the past was revealed.

On the first episode of the SBS drama "My Love from the Star", Do Min-joon had saved a little girl who had come to the Chosun in the year 1609.

She wasn't afraid of this alien man and gave him a picture of the spacecraft which he was on, as a present. Do Min-joon stayed in Chosun since then and was now a university professor.

Do Min-joon told a lawyer (Kim Chang-wan) who was the only one who knew about his identity, "I am returning to the place I came from in three months. Thank you for everything you've done for me until now". The lawyer asked why he didn't return 400 years ago.

Do Min-joon saw a girl who looked just like the one he saved 400 years ago. She was the Cheon Song-ee now. The young Cheon Song-ee was almost hit by a truck but he had saved her.

He had been watching over the girl who looked like the girl from the Chosun. This was the reason he had remained on Earth for 400 years.
