Court Lady Noh (Lee Eung-kyung) appeared in the palace on the seventeenth episode and mentioned the king's blood document.
The blood document was written by Ta Hwan's (Ji Chang-wook) father and was the only policy to get rid of Yeon Cheol (Jun Gook-hwan). It was desperately desired by Ta Hwan who dreamt of avenging his father and Wang Yoo (Joo Jin-mo), who was wanting to be restored.
While everyone was wide-eyed for the document, Court Lady Noh said she'd seen it and even knew where it was. She knew because she had served the emperor.
Gi Seung-nyang (Ha Ji-won) asked her what the contents of it were. Noh said, "He said he loved and told me I was the most beautiful in the world". Her mention of the document made her a key clue in finding it.
Meanwhile, Lee Eung-kyung left a strong impression as an insane court lady who was shocked after the Emperor died.
