Poong-sang was diagnosed with liver cancer and he visited the river where his father's ashes had been spread. He bitterly recalled his father who needed a liver transplant too, but he couldn't ask his children for help.

Kang Yeol-han (Choi Sung-jae) told him he could live if he got a transplant, but Poong-sang didn't want to scar his siblings and he didn't want them to be left with debt. Poong-sang cried while writing down a list of his siblings who would give him a liver and he even had a nightmare of his siblings burying him in the ground.

Meanwhile, Poong-sang had a story arc involving his mother, Noh Yang-sim (Lee Bo-hee). Noh Yang-sim took the siblings' money so their father couldn't receive proper treatment. Poong-sang knew all this, but he took all that upon himself and kept things from his brothers and sisters so that they could remember their mother as a warm person. This is how much he loved his family and how much he must have suffered for them.

The story of Hwa-sang's scar is bringing more interest to the drama. Will Poong-sang be able to bring up the fact that he needs a liver? What will his brothers and sisters think?
