[Spoiler] 'Monster - 2016' Kang Ji-hwan learns about his past love with Sung Yu-ri

2016/08/22 | Permalink | Source

On the episode 40 of MBC's Monday & Tuesday drama "Monster - 2016", Kang Gi-tan (Kang Ji-hwan) heard about his past with Oh Soo-yeon (Sung Yu-ri).

On this day, Kang Gi-tan went to China to meet Ok Chae-ryeong (Lee El) and asked her to tell him about Oh Soo-yeon. Ok Chae-ryeong asked him why he became so curious about Oh Soo-yeon.

Kang Gi-tan answered, "Whenever I think about her, my heart aches. I don't know why but I get so sad, ardent, and lonely that I feel like I am going crazy because my heart hurts so much".

Ok Chae-ryeong told Kang Gi-tan that he used to know Oh Soo-yeon since their childhood. She also explained how much trouble Oh Soo-yeon went through trying to clear his name from the false murder charge.

Ok Chae-ryeong also revealed that Kang Gi-tan and Oh Soo-yeon were in love with each other. Kang Gi-tan said, "Did she love me too?" Ok Chae-ryeong answered, "So much that it made me feel jealous". Kang Gi-tan's eyes got red and teary.
