On the latest episode of the tvN drama "Mother", Soo-jin (Lee Bo-young) and Jin-hong (Lee Jae-yoon) reached Hye-na (Heo Yool) who'd been kidnapped.

Jin-hong wanted to call the police, but Soo-jin said she'd go in alone and that there was another way in. "Wait and see, but if you think things are going out of control, call the police".

Seol-ak (Sukku Son) told Soo-jin about his days as a child and tied her to a chair. He said, "No one gets out of here tonight. I'm going to make you cry". However, Jin-hong was hiding nearby and he struck Seol-ak to save the girls.

Chang-geun (Jo Han-chul) arrived at the scene and hurt Seol-ak who tried to kill a fellow officer. Seol-ak recalled being abused by his mother and set himself on fire.

Soo-jin and Hye-na ran away from Chang-geun. A monk said they couldn't stay at the temple, but eventually he let them sleep there and helped them to escape. Soo-jin and Hye-na were on the news and Chang-geun was after her as a kidnapper.
