Because So Gook-ja (Park Won-sook) became worried that her daughter-in-law Sin Deok-ye would go out to find the child outside marriage, she made her daughter-in-law work harder on the house chores. So Gook-ja ordered Sin Deok-ye to cook various dishes and clean a storage room in the basement.

While Sin Deok-ye was cleaning the storage room, she discovered a secret room. When she stepped into the room, she found the paintings that her father Sin Ji-sang had hidden. When Sin Deok-ye could remember her father had told her to never leave the house, she was exhilarated.

Sin Deok-ye later moved the paintings to a different place while she made her mother-in-law believe she was recycling after she cleaned the basement.
