[Spoiler] "My Golden Life" Chun Ho-jin's Psychosomatic Cancer

2018/01/14 Source

On the latest episode of the KBS 2TV weekend drama "My Golden Life", results showed that Seo Tae-soo (Chun Ho-jin) did not have cancer.

Tae-soo lost consciousness and passed out. Ji-an (Shin Hye-sun) headed to the hospital. Her family was devastated to hear that Tae-soo coughed up blood and that he'd packed his travel bags.

The family learned that Tae-soo had been preparing to leave them. Tae-soo had said, "I don't plan on getting treated. I don't care what kind of cancer it is". When the family told him he'd die, he said, "So what? This is the first time I'm doing something I want to do".

They said he was being selfish and Tae-soo said, "Why can't I think for myself? I've lived all my life for my family. I don't have to live if I don't have a reason to. I'm grateful God wants me".

Ji-an cried, "Don't you care about us?" but he said, "There's no need to extend my life if I'm going to die anyway".

In the end, Tae-soo left the hospital without getting treatment and his family looked everywhere for him.

They headed for the hospital again to see what condition he was in and it turned out he didn't have stomach cancer, but imaginary cancer due to an illness anxiety disorder.

Meanwhile, Do-kyung realized the person who took care of him was Ji-an.

Ji-an asked why he didn't go back home and he said, "I didn't just leave my house for me. I won't go back until I succeed on my own".
