2016/12/01 Source

On the sixth episode of the KBS 2TV drama "Oh My Geum-bi", Mo Hwi-cheol (Oh Ji-ho) found out that Yoo Geum-bi (Heo Jung-eun) had a disease.

After he accepted her as his daughter, Mo Hwi-cheol got a call from a doctor named Kim Woo-hyeon (Kim Dae-jong). Yoo Geum-bi had claimed she wasn't going to tell her father about her child's Alzheimer's and join the orphanage so he called Mo Hwi-cheol and said, "I'm telling you something that's going to make me breach the rule of patient secrecy". He told Mo Hwi-cheol about Yoo Geum-bi's Niemann-Pick Disease.

He explained that it was and added, "When the symptoms get worse, it goes beyond ordinary imagination. Tell me honestly, will you be able to handle it? Can you take care of her 'til the end?"

Mo Hwi-cheol was in shock and took a walk when he saw Yoo Geum-bi watching a child in his mother's arms. She was crying. Ko Kang-hee (Park Jin-hee) also learned about Yoo Geum-bi's disease. Choi Jae-jin (Kim Do-hyun) who has a crush on her, told her about it after his friend Kim Woo-hyeon told him.

Mo Hwi-cheol and Ko Kang-hee cried at the fact that Yoo Geum-bi might only live up to twenty. When DNA tests returned, Mo Hwi-cheol didn't even read it and just burned it up.
