For "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo", the fans wanted a happy ending for our wretched main couple, and here it is

For those who have watched "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo" to the very end, you probably walked away with bitter feeling that the drama ended with a heart aching sad ending. Knowing the original version aired in China, we assumed that it will be a sad ending but was hoping for a change in the story. Unfortunately, there wasn't a pleasant surprise for a plot twist. The story proceeded with the original ending, where Soo (IU) dies before she could clear her misunderstanding with Wang So ('Lee Joon-gi'). Fans were heartbroken when Soo slowly withered away into death and Wang So weeping with despair when he finds out Soo's gone. I know, no one wants a sad ending! So, some of the artistic fans created a happy ending for Soo and Wang So, using their skills. If Soo and Wang So could have been together, their happy little family would have looked like this. The drama may have ended but we will keep reminiscing our adorable Soo and the charming princes. Meanwhile, these tender pictures will give us a little comfort, imagining this could have happened.
