On the 18th episode of "Pride and Prejudice", it first showed Dong-chi (Choi Jin-hyuk)'s father, who went to the prosecutors' office to surrender himself.

Dong-chi's father said he was the one who stroke Bbaekgom on his head from behind and buried him. Once he became sure his son, Dong-chi had killed Bbaekgom, he made the false confession to save his son, Dong-chi.

Hee-man (Choi Min-soo) came over and persuaded Dong-chi saying if Dong-chi would pass over Song Ah-reum to him, he would set Dong-chi's father free. He knew Dong-chi was hiding Song Ah-reum, who was believed to be dead but was still alive.

Dong-chi could not let Song Ah-reum go nor could he let his father charged with murder. He said "I killed Baek Sang-gi aka Bbaekgom". Yeol-moo (Baek Jin-hee), the prosecutor who was in charge of the case of Bbaekgom's death was in tears as she would have to charge her lover, Dong-chi with murder.

Dong-chi said "Stop looking at me, Yeol-moo. Go and take care of Kang Soo and Song Ah-reum. Find Baek Sang-moo and bring him over. I'm going to testify I killed Bbaekgom". After Yeol-moo left, he quietly talked to himself "I'm sorry, Yeol-moo".

"Pride and Prejudice" is a drama about prosecutors who fight against injustice for the powerless and underprivileged people.
