Kang-jae arrested Yeon-jin (Seo Ji-hye)'s father and threatened her. However, Yeon-jin ignored her father, who always treated her as a child outside marriage. She coldly said to reveal her father's corruption and sentence him to prison time.

Kang-jae met Jeong-hwan and tried to bribe him with money. Jeong-hwan did not give up on his belief and said he would contact media. Kang-jae contacted his friends in media and tried to bring them on his side.

After Yeon-jin received files related to Kang-jae from Jeong-hwan and went to Kang-jae. She said, "I will give you these files if you stop my father as well as his son from running for the election", in which she betrayed Jeong-hwan.

But the action was based on the scenario Jeong-hwan along with Yeon-jin planned ahead. Jeong-hwan asked Yeon-jin to help him and pretend to work for Tae-joon.
