The second episode of SBS' Monday & Tuesday drama depicted Jeong Do-jeon (Kim Myung-min)'s efforts to prevent a treaty of amity with Won nation from happening.

On this day, Yi In-gyeom (Choi Jong-won) made Kil Tae-mi (Park Hyuk-kwon) act as the double of an envoy from Won nation. It was because Yi In-gyeom thought that Jeong Do-jeon, who was appointed as the welcoming representative, would kill the envoy from Won nation.

Kil Tae-mi could put Jeong Do-jeon under control and yelled, "I'm not an envoy from Won. I was put in this position as a double for the envoy because we had intelligence that someone would attempt to kill the envoy". However, what Jeong Do-jeon was holding in his hands was not a dagger, but a taffy stick.

Jeong Do-jeon shouted towards the people who gathered there, "I, Sambong Jeong Do-jeon is standing here risking my life. If we'd have signed a treaty of amity with Won nation, then we would have to fight in a war against Myeong nation. The three people including Yi In-gyeom are trying to ally with Won nation for their own personal wellbeing".

At the moment, Hong In-bang (Jeon No-min) asked as they had rehearsed in advance, "Then how would we be able to prevent the treaty with Won nation from happening?"

Jeong Do-jeon said, "We should unite. If we all together would show our firm determination to kill the envoy, therefore make him run away, then we can stop the treaty from happening. That is the only option for us".

The envoy was intimidated and told Yi In-gyeom, "We have only one life to live. We're human being" and then he said he would return to his country.
