On this day, there was the fierce battle going on between Yi Seong-gye and Yi In-gyeom over Yi Bang-won (Yoo Ah-in). Yi In-gyeom tried to kill Yi Bang-won while Hong In-bang (Jeon No-min), Gil Tae-mi (Park Hyuk-kwon), and his brothers put forth their best efforts to rescue him.

However, the only one, who remained peaceful in the whole situation was Jeong Do-jeon (Kim Myung-min). He was sure that Yi In-gyeom and Yi Seong-gye were waiting to choose each one's best timing to step in. He also said that Yi Bang-won also needed to learn to be responsible for what he had done.

However, against Jeong Do-jeon's prediction, Yi Seong-gye started taking proactive action to save his son. He went to see Yi In-gyeom and threatened him to kill if he would not release Yi Bang-won right away.

Yi In-gyeom tried to hide his bewilderment, however he could not help revealing his nervousness when he said he would make Yi Bang-won confess within the day.

Yi Seong-gye allied with Jeong Do-jeon fully and also joined the Supreme Council of Goryeo to continue his bold actions. He took Yak-san out of Yi In-gyeom's hands and Yi Bang-won finally could meet Jeong Do-jeon again. When Yi Bang-won asked Jeong Do-jeon why he saved him, Yi Bang-won, Jeong Do-jeon said it's because he would teach Yi Bang-won, and then he told Yi Bang-won to call him master.
