On the 38th episode of MBC's Monday & Tuesday drama, "Splendid Politics", Injo (Kim Jae-won) returned to the capital city after Lee Gwal's coup was over.

Injo rejected Princess Jeongmyeong's advice that they should focus on guarding borders. He instead allied with Kim Ja-jeom (Jo Min-ki).
Princess Jeongmyeong was furious with his decision. She told the king, "You lost the last chance today. A disaster will occur to this nation for sure. You threw away the opportunity to stop it all today".
As he excused himself, "This is for the nation and its people", she scolded the king, "False, It's just your excuse to protect the throne for yourself".
Injo was silent. Princess Jeongmyeong continued, "You're not the owner of this nation. The owner of this nation is its people".
