On the seventeenth episode of the KBS 2TV drama "Gunman in Joseon", Park Yoon-kang (Lee Joon-gi) succeeded in catching Kim Ja-yeong (Choi Jong-won), but not Choi Won-sin (Yu Oh-seong), the one who killed his father. Choi Won-sin survived by siding with Kim Byeong-je (Ahn Suk-hwan) and began to help the Kojong.

Kojong decided to keep Kim Byeong-je and Choi Won-sin by his side for the reinforcement of his throne and even suggested to Park Yoon-kang that he forgave Choi Won-sin and worked together.

Park Yoon-kang said, "I will kill Choi Won-sin with my own hands". He started off with interfering with his business.

He had thwarted a mining deal with Yamamoto (Kim Eung-soo) from Japan. Park Yoon-kang heard that Choi Won-sin was slaving people and went to save them in his shooter appearance.

The next day, Choi Won-sin went by the mines with Yamamoto only to find that his workers had run away. Han-jo (Park Yoon-kang) appeared just as Yamamoto was about to turn away. He convinced Yamamoto that there were other technicians and Yamamoto turned away with Park Yoon-kang, telling Choi Won-sin to prepare something else.
