Jung Il-woo got rid of Kim Sung-oh and became king.

On the final episode of the MBC drama "The Night Watchman's Journal", Lee Rin destroyed Lee Moo-gi and eliminated Sada (Kim Sung-oh).

Lee Rin stopped the dragon from ascending up to the heavens and got rid of Sadam before reporting to Kisangun (Kim Heung-soo).

However, Kisangun suggested abdication of the throne by saying, "Only the one who can see ghosts is worthy of king. Only then will he be able to see the places where others can't see".

He then called Lee Rin sweetly and said, "I was jealous and envious of you thinking that you would take my place. Like grandmother said, this position isn't one of absolute power but of great responsibility. I believe you will do well. Become a great king and lead this country to peace".

Lee Rin became king, then declared, "My politics is going to be of coexistence and harmony and for the people".
