A Sungsin Women's University professor revealed that various stars from different areas took part in the petition to select required subjects for the Korean history aptitude tests.

Fashion designer Lee Sang-bong, singer Yoon Jong-shin, actress Kim Yunjin, actor Cho Jae-hyun, comedian Seo Kyung-suk, soccer player Kim Byeong-ji and other stars took part in the petition.

Seo Kyung-suk claims, "I felt the preciousness of my country more than I did while starring in the TV program "Real Man" and I think it's very important that sharing the right knowledge of Korean history with our youths is very important".

Cho Jae-hyun said, "The Chinese Northeast project and the Japanese fight for Dokdo is getting worse every day but we shouldn't be blaming others. We should just pay more attention to our history".

The university professor said, "We plan on getting more stars to join us and spreading the importance of required subjects in Korean history. With Independence Day coming up, we will become more active".
