Sung Hyuk Talks About Role as Twins in "A Korean Odyssey"

2018/01/22 | Permalink | Source

Actor Sung Hyuk is playing two roles in the tvN drama "A Korean Odyssey".

He plays Fairy Ha and General Winter, two spirits in a single body. General Winter is a sincere character and Son Oh-gong's (Lee Seung-gi) friend. He runs an ice cream store. On the other hand, his sister, Fairy Ha, is a warm and social character who listens to demons and what they have to say while she runs a cocktail bar.

Sung Hyuk has been putting in a lot of effort into his hair, make-up, and clothing for the two characters. He has been working on his gestures, expressions, and speech as well.

His efforts can be seen through the drama. General Winter is rather rigid and angular while Fairy Ha is elegant and poised in everything she does.

Sung Hyuk says, "I think acting is the most important part in playing two roles. I always think of how I am going to manage the tone between two characters. I try to understand as much as possible. I don't mind that it's a girl who I'm playing. I just make sure I am playing a character".

Meanwhile, "A Korean Odyssey" can be seen every Saturday and Sunday at 21:00 KST.
