Super Junior : The Number One Kpop Artist In The Philippines

According to the results of a Philippines awards show, Super Junior is the number one most popular k-pop artist/group in the islands. The winning group won 61.6% of the votes in the Asian Pop Viewers Choice (2010 K-pop) awards section, beating out 2NE1 (12.99%), Wonder Girls (15.25%), and One Way (10.16%).
After entering onto the MYX charts with the release of their fourth title song "Bonamana", they held down the number one spot for seven consecutive weeks. Following on the heels of that, their fourth repackaged album's title song "No Other" also was honored with the top spot for five straight weeks. They were also the first Korean artist to hold their own solo headlining concert in the Philippines.
On a related note, the branch of the large idol group, K.R.Y. (consisting of members Cho Kyuhyun, Ryeo-wook, and Yesung), also held their own concert titled "Super Junior K.R.Y. First Concert In Taiwan" this past November 20-21st.
