Super Junior held a press conference with French media at Le Zenith de Paris on April 6.Super Junior successfully held their first solo concert in Paris, the city of art, in France on April 6. With around 7,000 Hallyu fans in attendance, Super Junior showcased a splendid performance during their concert entitled "World Tour Super Show 4".
It was the first solo concert in France for a Korean singing group, and they sang a total of 30 songs over three hours and thirty minutes with a relatively comfortable appearance at Le Zenith de Paris, at which they had already performed during the SM Town concert last year in June. The stage was decorated with a large 20-meter wide LED screen, and it was equipped to move into position at the eye level of the audience. Super Junior presented various spectacles for the audience such as solo performances and a special performance with the audience together.
Even though the ticket price reached as high as 100 euro (approximately 150,000 won in Korean currency), the seats were almost filled with Hallyu fans who perfectly sang Super Junior's songs in the Korean language. And some of the female audience members who held the group members' hands broke into tears. Leeteuk, Dong Hae, and Ye Sung's mothers attended the concert and proudly watched their sons' performance when the enthusiastic fans from Europe, Asia, and Africa cheered for their sons.
Group member Leeteuk's mother said with satisfaction, "I had never imagined that my son would hold a solo concert in Paris, and today I am very proud of my son who is performing in front of many fans". Group member Kyu Hyun expressed his feelings at the end of the concert, saying, "We have become one regardless of our gender, skin color, and country through this concert in Paris today". He expressed his gratitude for many fans from all over the world.
Super Junior will hold the 8th concert of their world tour "World Tour Super Show 4" in Shanghai, China on April 14 and then hold another concert in Jakarta, Indonesia from April 28 to 29.[Yonhap]
