The 270-day production camp with Lee Hyeon-se and Lee Chang-dong!

'Participatory Program of Cultural Content Project Camp' kicks off with the aim of producing talented human resources readily adaptable to the field by providing participants with experts' knowhow for creation by area

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister: Yu In-chon) and Korea Creative Content Agency (President & CEO: Lee Jae-woong) recruit trainees for 'Participatory Program of Cultural Content Project Camp' until 19th, June.

To promote cultural industry, the program is designed to help competent students majoring in content related courses to work with renowned producers, directors, and writers of each genre and area, thereby assisting them to learn knowhow for creation. Under this program, all educational expenses are free and field education is also provided.
In consideration of excellence of each project, achievements made by concerned camps (enterprises and studios), general conditions, ability of project leaders, and possibilities to participate in education, a total of 15 project camps have been chosen in various areas such as comics, TV dramas, documentaries, movies, animations, games, and performances.
They include studios of Korea's renowned comics artist Lee Doo-ho, and cartoonist Lee Hyeon-se. Also included are projects which are participated by Lee Chang-dong, movie director, Lee Jin-seok, TV drama director, and Yoon Ho-jin, director of musical. A maximum of 2 trainees are allowed to participate in each project. Each participant receives educational grants through government support.
Eligible for this program are persons with 2 year college degree or higher or graduates from cultural content public academies. Almost 30 candidates will be chosen through examination of personal histories and portfolios and in-depth interviews.

Notification of selected candidates will be made on 23th. Interviews will be conducted on 26th. Announcement of final selection will be made on 29th. Course duration is 9 months from 1st July, 2009 to 31st March, 2010.
